St. Louis, Missouri: (historical photos - film & prints).

Möessel used photography to inventory his work, from his early career in Germany till his final works in Chicago. The collection includes both finished and preliminary drawings from Möessel’s Jefferson Arms, St. Louis, Missouri work. This ceiling mural work dates around 1927 & 28, with architectural design firm Teich & Sullivan. These velum drawings seem to be the only remaining record of this commission, the murals were demolished in 1980.
