Möessel used photography to inventory his work, from his early career in Germany till his final works in Chicago. The collection includes both finished and preliminary drawings from Möessel’s 3-Panel Mural work. "Panal murals" was a standard practice in Moessel's German decorative work, canvas were painted in the studio then hung like wallpaper on location.
