Our objective is rather simple, to further expose the brilliance of an amazing modern German/American artist — Julius Moessel. 

Assembling this collection of art has required a serious effort by a number of people, hundreds of hours were required to organize, categorize and record. This assembly includes: painting, drawings, sketches, photographs, writings/books, copyright applications, correspondence and art reviews. While planning the website, select images were culled to represent the collection.

Moessel has gone under the art world radar for a number of reasons. Mark Alvey’s research has revealed much of that mystery, allowing us to now rediscovery Moessel’s artistic mastery, placing his work in a new prospective and merit.

The joy of living with Julius’s artwork has been a extravagance that most will never experience. It’s now time to relinquish the collection, may the prospective buyer be a individual, institution or museum. We are making the collection available in it’s entirety, allowing the sheer brilliance and talent of Julius Moessel to be appreciated once again.
